I love movies. I love lists. And 2012 was a damn good year for movies. I haven’t even seen a lot of the ones that I wanted to see yet and this list was still incredibly hard to make.

I make my decisions based on the following:
1.) My personal tastes and biases.
2.) Overall quality.
3.) How will it hold up in 10 years?
This list is presented alphabetically, aside from the film I label as ‘the best,’ which is presented last.
